Nobias was founded in 2017 in the USA with a mission to protect individuals from deceptive or misleading content on the internet and help them make better informed decisions.
Nobias Finance aims to enlighten and empower young investors by helping them assess financial information more effectively, and without bias. We use AI / ML to equip investors with credible, relevant, and unbiased information so that they can make smarter financial decisions.
In the US, our journey has been marked by both transformative experiences and numerous success stories. In an age where the internet governs choices impacting lives, from trivial ink removers to life-altering medical treatments, decision-making has become a labyrinth. Despite abundant information, the web is tainted with deceit and manipulation. A solution emerged: a dedicated AI team for hire. By sourcing, analyzing, and presenting research, this team aims to optimize significant decisions. Before investing, purchasing, or committing, pause, sift through the noise, eliminate bias, and counter deception. With diligence and support, the internet's benefits can still be harnessed, making decision-making intelligent and successful.

Nobias is a certified Financial Information User in the Account Aggregator ecosystem and we adhere to technical specifications as prescribed by ReBIT, an undertaking of the Reserve Bank of India.
Finvu, an RBI-regulated Account Aggregator, is our partner to ensure that we access your data through a secure and encrypted process.
Nobias is regulated by SEBI and is a registered Investment Adviser (SEBI Registration Number:INA000019558).
We are a member of Sahamati, an industry alliance coordinating and promoting the Account Aggregator ecosystem in India.
We work with third parties that are regulated and adhere to industry-standard compliance and auditing practices.
Privacy by design
We take the following measures in designing our databases:
Our database is encrypted using AES 256-bit encryption at rest and we limit access to the database to only authorised Nobias services.
We encrypt data in transit using TLS/HTTPS protocol when accessed by our clients (iOS/Android/Web app).
Our infrastructure is built on top of Amazon Web Services, which has more than 96 industry security certifications, including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC3.
All data is stored only in AWS data centres in India and using Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore Security Rules to handle serverless authentication, authorization, and data validation.
Transactions are processed only to provide financial insights and automatic categorisation.
Nobias does NOT read your emails or messages in any case or scenario. All your financial data is securely fetched through an RBI Licensed Account Aggregator. Though we have received a flood of requests for credit card integration, as credit card data is not yet live on the Account Aggregator (AA) framework, for your protection and Privacy we have created work-arounds that will require some manual inputs on your part but it is the most secure way as it avoids reading your private emails!

Dr. Tania Ahuja, Founder and CEO
Dr. Tania Ahuja is a former Director at Citigroup and serves on the Board of the Stern School of Business, NYU. Additionally, she sits on the boards of other learning and art organizations, including the Center of Advanced Study of India (CASI) at the University of Pennsylvania, the Salome Chamber Orchestra, The Paper Bag Players, and was Chairman of the Board for the Summit Music Festival.
Tania holds a PhD in Finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University. She has a BS in Statistics from Bombay University and an MS in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University.
Lara Menezes, CA, CFO
Lara is Chief Financial Officer at Nobias. She was born and raised in Goa, India. She earned her certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2001 and has worked in firms and international companies such as Deloitte and Pliva. She has been an entrepreneur for over 12 years.
Lara holds a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce, Goa University.
Mohit Pandey, Technical Lead
Mohit is a dedicated and skilled technical lead with a unique blend of expertise in JavaScript frameworks, Python, machine learning/AI, and cloud technologies. He is passionate about leveraging his technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation and excellence in software development and deliver cutting-edge solutions that propel organizations forward.
Mohit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from VBCET, UP

Dr. CKG Nair, Senior Advisor
Dr. CKG Nair is a financial sector policy-regulatory-law-education expert of eminence with over 25 years of experience on these subjects at senior to senior-most levels. He was a Member of the Securities Appellate Tribunal [SAT] during 2016-21. He was also Secretary, Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission [FSLRC, Chaired by Justice B.N Srikrishna]; Adviser, Capital Markets; Director, Capital Markets and Director, Commodity Futures Markets, amongst other positions in the Government of India. From 2021 till recently he was Director, National Institute of Securities Markets [NISM]. Promoting financial literacy, financial education, certification and skills, imparting unbiased corporate-market-regulatory knowledge for making well-informed investors and intermediaries has been key areas of his attention in NISM.
Dr. Nair has been a Member of several committees/task forces in the financial sector: the most recent one being the reconstituted Expert Committee appointed by the Honorable Supreme Court on issues relating to the Hindenburg Research Report on Adani group.
Sr Nair holds a PhD on securities markets regulation and writes periodically on financial sector policies, laws and regulation, corporate governance, investor protection and related issues
Parag Jain, Regulatory Advisor
Parag Jain is an expert on securities market regulation. He worked in Securities and Exchange Board of India(SEBI) for 14 years followed by senior positions in reputed financial services companies like MCX, Avendus Capital and D E Shaw. Presently, he advises companies on regulatory matters.
Parag holds degrees in Engineering and Economics from BITS, Pilani.
Shinichi Urano, Advisor Software Engineer (DevOps & Cloud)
Shinichi is foremost a technologist. He has held various leadership positions in various start-ups - leading teams with dozens of engineers across the globe. Shinichi has deep expertise in Storage, DevOps, and SaaS development. He works today with various partners and enterprises primarily as a cloud consultant.
Shinichi holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Yuri Ahuja, Data Scientist
Dr. Yuri Ahuja is an Internal Medicine Resident at NYU Langone, Clinical Investigator Track. He is interested in how machine learning can be used to enhance medical decision support and revolutionize personalized medicine. Yuri is also CTO of Oatmeal Health, an AI-enabled Cancer screening as a service for Underrepresented Patient Populations of FQHCs and Health Plans.
Yuri holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University. He also has a BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University.
Nicholas Gonzalez, Advisor Software Engineer (Frontend)
Nick is the founder of Visibly.dev. Prior to this he was Staff Software Engineer at Brex where he Co-led the Brex Design System team. Nick was Technical Lead at Headspace and Senior software engineer at Snap, where he developed the Snap Kit Developer Portal, On-Demand Geofilters, Lenses (create.snapchat.com), and various internal web apps and code packages.
Nicholas has a BS in Computer Science from Yale University.
Dhiren Sonigra, Product Lead
Dhiren is Product Lead at Nobias. He has extensive experience in optimizing product portfolios and leading innovative B2B SaaS solutions. He excels in managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and market adoption, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry trends.
Dhiren holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Masters of Technology (MTech) in Materials Engineering from IIT Bombay.
Aditya Krishnakumar, Sales & Operations Lead
Aditya is a performance-driven professional with 15 years of rich & extensive, national & International experience including strategic project management, stakeholder engagement, and people management. Prior to Nobias he was Founder of an FMCG (Ready to eat Foods) and business initiatives management in conglomerate, The Murugappa Group.
Aditya holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from University of Southern California and a BTech from Bachelor of Technology from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering.
